Returns and Refunds
At Africa At Home (Pty)Ltd trading as Africa@Home, we strive to ensure that our customers are completely satisfied with their purchases. If for any reason you are not happy with your order, please refer to the following guidelines for returns and refunds:
1. Eligibility for Returns
- You may return items within 15 days from the date of order.
- The item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in the original packaging.
- Some items like limited edition/one of a kind and custom items cannot be returned.
2. Returns Process
- To initiate a return, please contact us at info@africa-at-home.com with your order number and the reason for the return.
- We will provide you with instructions on how to return your item.
3. Refunds
- Once your returned item is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
- If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will be automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 7 - 10 business days.
4. Shipping Costs
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item was defective or damaged upon arrival.
- We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance for returns over a certain value to ensure it reaches us safely.
5. Damaged or Defective Items
- If your item arrived damaged or defective, please notify us immediately within 1-2 days of receiving the item, and we will assist you with a replacement or refund.
